or do other chores?
any here archaic and expect the woman to do all of the work?
my mother taught me that women don't need our help, but we should give it anyway, to show our love.
My hubby does dishes about 2-3 times a week. He also cleans the bathroom for me since he makes most of the mess, lol. I don't remember him changing even one diaper back when the kids were little though, so I figure it's the least he can do. He's pretty helpful ever since he started realizing that the less time I have the less fun he'll have, so he is pretty fast at household chores when he's horny, LOL.
i just wanted to thank everyone who was so understanding the other nite when i posted about my cat being hit by a car.
btw, it is his picture in the square.
he is magnificent - all 191bs of him - and yes he is still with us.
I'm glad your kitty is ok. Whether the prayer helped or not, it helped calm your nerves when you needed it.

i don't think, 18 or 20 years ago, we knew much of anything about .
pedophiles.
How dare they even try to use such a lame excuse.
I just keep feeling more and more embarrassed to have believed in it at all.
ok first off this is the first time i have ever made up a topic.
secondly, i was reading another thread about teen development and the borgs control over adolescents, and that got me to thinking.
i dont know what anyone elses experiences were like in their congregations but 85% of the kids in my hall were home schooled their entire lives, or were taking correspondence courses instead of attending high school.
Hi Joanna,
I homeschooled my daughter for 4 1/2 years. I wasn't exactly Ms. Pioneer, lol, so I think it helped me keep an open mind towards my daughter's education. I had planned on homeschooling so she could travel, spend more time on her talents, etc. It was very positive for my daughter. The problem started when I started getting more involved with my business. Then she had to go to school. Turns out she is very popular, just made pompons and got straight a's on her end of school report card. I gave up a lot of my time to make it work and to keep her "out there" socializing and all that. It was fun, but I'm glad we're not doing it anymore. It's too hard for one person all the time to try and help them along with all those subjects, uggh. It's not the healthiest thing in the world for the parent that takes on the responsibility. I think if you approach it with enthusiasm, don't try to keep your child under your thumb and keep things balanced it can definitely be better than public schooling. Just trying to do it all though is not easy in the world we live in. If we didn't have neighbors and close access to libraries, museums, sports, I'd probably not have done it. I would have gone crazy, lol.
She just chimed in and said she loved it most of all because she could sleep in every morning. LOL, kids.
i graduate this saturday with a double degree.
all of my siblings will be here including my brother, who is an elder, and my lil' sister, who is df.
he's feeling guilty about how the wts has treated the case with his father & our little sister in the 90's.
Congratulations!
I'm excited for you, what an accomplishment. I'm sure your whole family is extremely proud.
Cheers or coffee cup clanging to you!

as the borg hammered us into thinking that anyone who had contact with the dead were in fact speaking to the demons, however, now we know that a lot of their teachings are full of sh*t.. i lost my dad at the start of this year.
a couple of months later i bump into a close friend who has known dad for many years.. this guy was stoked that he was getting married and mentioned how it was a shame dad wasn't around for the wedding.. yesterday i called in to see him and he told me something that had happened to him.. he was talking to his sister, who lives in another town, and she is active in some spiritual group.
she said she had never met jack, my dad, but that she has been talking to him and that he had a message he wanted given to this friend, her brother.. dad wanted him to get out of this relationship fast.. he never took it seriously and carried on as usual.. not long after that, this fiancee of his smashed up his 4x4, was on a restricted drivers licence and spent the money he gave her for his hire purchases.. so, his truck is wrecked, he can't claim insurance to get it repaired, he still has to pay it off, a lot of his possessions have been repo-ed and that basically he is in sh*t street without a shovel.. do you think it was a message from my dad ??.
Oh yeah... PROVE IT
aren't you the one always talking about vampires and other mythical beings?
was reading zenpunk's thread about how it seems ex jw's go over the deep end and i tend to agree.
i think that is normal after being repressed for so long.. however, it would sure be nice if we had more than one chat room here.
i have visited the chat several times and it seems that usually (not always) it is about who was the drunkest, who had sex with someone, who is a lesbian, etc etc etc.
I thought I offended Naeblis in the past, but I learned he's not one to hold a grudge. I think the discussions on yahoo lean more towards the serious topics. You might want to try over there for the chats. But make sure you post here!
